I am having one heck of a hard time finding a 4spd k5. Very few made? The few i know that have they built them. just wondering thx

A majority that I was finding when searching were autos. Seemed like a ratio of 1 out of every 25 were 4-speed. I lucked out and found just what I was looking for. Took 4-5 months to find it though.

I know how you feel. It took a while to find a first gen with a stick. In the end I could have bought an auto because I converted it to hydraulic clutch, just food for thought.

Awww crap... my cousin just sold his '87 K5 with a factory hydro-clutch 465/208.

They're out there, just not that common.

My 84 was a factory 305-465-208 rig. I had never seen one before and haven't seen one since.

My 81 was 305 465/208 from the factory...and the truck was a fully optioned too. Power everything, AC etc etc. Pretty uncommon, first one I ever saw like that.

What exactly is that ????I've heard of it a few times before

My 88 has a 465/208 combo. Its the stripped down Custom package with AC.

After the early 80's, it seems 98% are auto...

mid 70's? probably 30, 40% where manual...
