4t65e slipping/banging?

In my wifes 04 impala... I serviced the trans a couple weeks ago. Had a slight slam into gear coming from a stop some time. Fluid was slightly burnt so I chocked it up to that. Now the slamming is getting worse and I come to read its a very common issue with the accumulator?

Anyone dealt with this?
