Not exactly a K5, but this thing sure looks a lot roomier than a K5 Chalet. And when you get to your favorite fishing spot, just drive right in!

Check out the approach and departure angles! It's a one-of-a-kind prototype that took 10 years and $250,000 to build. (Too bad it's only got a 350 to haul around it's 11K lb heft!)

My only question would be WHY? For $250,000 you could have a Big Block powered Potent Rodent type K5 to haul your 24' boat wherever you wanted, with enough left over to buy a house! OK most of a house, but still its ugly, slow and underpowered, and best of all it maxes out at an incredible 5 MPH in the water!

He should get an easy $100,000 for it!

But the bidding's only at $20K right now and the reserve has been met. A real bargain!

My biggest concern would be keeping it usable. Since it's a one-of-a-kind, there are no spare parts for it. I'm sure the engine and drivetrain is easy to fix, but what if you were to get in an accident and damage the body? There's no place to buy replacement body panels. You'd have to make them.

I still think it's a cool beast. Someone spent a lot of time, money and effort to design and build it. They should have put a big block in it though!
