the two cabs are different? Aren't there just cut outs for different set ups? I have a 208 and a bare floor, but it's a 4x4 blazer

From what i came up with from searching the floor pans are different. Im in the process of trying to install the shifter into my 87 cab but the cab is a 2wd and the floor pan is giving me headaches big time.
2wd cabs don't have the raised tranny humps like 4wd do. But the shifter would mount the same way.
all i did was 2" body lift and no more clearence problems for shifters.
