4Wheel Drive not working any ideas???

my dad has a 1993 Chevy S-10 Blazer, its got the pushbutton to engage the 4 wheel drive but it wont engage it, what do you think it could be? i think it might be a fuse or theres this vacuum like plug that engages the 4wheel drive by gettin sucked into the transfer case im pretty sure, if it is are those easily replaced? or what else could it be /forums/images/graemlins/thinking.gif

if its vac operated then check you lines, it might be electric so check the moter

sounds like the acct motor is bad mine did the same thing

On my s-10, there is an vacuum actuator UNDER THE BATTERY TRAY...

The battery acid destroyed the seal...

It was a very easy fix...
