Sorry to hear about your troubles...I've delt with them a couple of times , no problem...Since hooking up with Tim, what can I say? Good people at "TIM'S OFF-ROAD" /forums/images/graemlins/bow.gif I'll surely do business with him again. /forums/images/graemlins/usaflag.gif

[/ QUOTE ] not gonna slam you,but just speaking for myself. i don't make a bunch of money so i try to watch for the best deal. i have been into cars and trucks for the last 20 years, mostly chevy! i have dealt with alot of different vendors. ones i go back to are summit racing,jegs,gmc paul's and just recently tim's offroad /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif the bottom line is no games! the price is the price. if i were you i would refuse shipment on the winch when it comes and buy one from someone that cares about the next part you want to buy not just the one you bought! /forums/images/graemlins/yikes.gif

I HAVE and I WILL WORK for the customers that I have because that's my job. I'm professional at what I do, and that's that.

Like I said before, I'm glad to hear that you're conducting yourself professionally with Tim's Offroad behind you. If only you could learn to transfer that attitude to your personal life.

Of course, I have a feeling that your behavior will improve now that you're in the game- you wouldn't want to scare off potential customers by being a dickhead, eh?

BTW- about the dickhead thing you choose to deny: I have tomorrow off and nothing planned. If you wish, I could post a couple of choice links in your feedback post to show your customers what kind of guy they're REALLY dealing with. Sound good? /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif
 
Post whatever you want. My customer service has repeatedly spoken for itself and will continue to do so. Whatever has happened in the past between me and members is old news.

I am sure me being a dickhead in the past has lost me many potential customers. That is unfortunate. Hopefully those that look past that are ready for a little of Tim's Offroad! /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

I search for the best "deals" all the time. However, I'll pay a little more to make sure I'm doing with a reputable business. Also, I'll pay a little more to a small business.

In the end, you have to do a lot of research on the company you're planning to buy from. Forums are great for this.

Sometimes...
You're better off calling up 4WheelParts and doing pricematching against the smaller fly-by-night companies. I, personally, don't like 4WheelParts but sometimes I'll be mean to them. My favorite thing to do is pricematching against a smaller business and with 4WP's overhead they actually lose money on the deal. Once in a while you'll find a good smaller company but 4wheelonline and winches4less have hit-and-miss customer service. Sometimes you're just better off with a bigger company. It's kind of disappointing.
