So, i am down to the last few things I need for the build. One of which is a set of wheels. Well I went ahead and placed an order last night for a set of 15x8 steel wheels from 4wheelparts. They said it would be free shipping if I did ship to store, which is cool cuz theres one in Plano about 45 minutes away.

The store manager from Plano calls me this morning and says," sorry we dont have any of the wheels you want and can't get any to the store. I don't even know when the soonest I can get them is."

So after asking him about 3 different sizes all in 2 different colors and different backspacings.......
I wanted a set of white 15x8 2.75"bs steel wheels and ALL they could find was a set of black 15x10's and still wanted to charge me like 80bucks more if I would take those instead:doah:

So, someone else is gettin my business for wheels I guess haha. Sorry just venting
 
I'm not a big fan of 4 Wheel Parts, and not sure how their whole business model works, but awhile back I ordered wheels through them (they were the only ones that had what I wanted). Called the closest retail store and they gave me a higher price and said they were having troubles getting the wheels in, then called the regular mail-order line and got the wheels delivered to my house a couple days later at a slightly cheaper price..........
 
i got a set 0f 16x8 cragars for under 50$ a piece. shipping to my door it was 210$ total with tax!!! this was through summit by the way
 
I just had a set of 4 Black steel wheels, 16x8, "soft 8". Delivered to my house for $260.00 from Summit.
 
:eek1::eek1: Just ordered a set of 15x8 8lugs from Summit. Wheels and a set of 32 lugnuts were $195.35 SHIPPED! shipping was 11 dollars!

I priced shipping my wheels from Summit and all 5 wheels were going to be $12 in shipping. The wheels themselves were going to run nearly $500 and the shipping cost can't be beat.

If it's something they have Summit pretty much gets all of my business anymore, I have never had a problem with anything, shipping is more then fair, prices are as good or better then any one else, and I usually have my stuff in 2-3 days max.

Love Summit. I use them frequently. I find it easiest and best if you go to the website of whatever part you need to find the actual part number and take it to Summit, it will come up quicker as a lot of times when you search thru Summit, they won't show anything unless you have part numbers.

Summit rocks. :bow:

Call them and they can get wheels that aren't listed on their site also
 
I went over to 4 wheel parts last month to get a price on a 14bff detroit locker, they quoted me $530, checked summit when I got home, $430. I love summit :)
