I need either a core or a good used 700R4 or 4l60, (not a 4l60e) to put back in my '86 diesel Suburban. The Th400 and 4.10s are killing me. I will pay what one is worth and there isn't anything close on CL.

that 700r4 i got is out and free if you want it .
its a 4x4 6 bolt dust cover style . 1 ear broken off so now its a 5 bolt . i didnt do it . good tig welder can build it up and retap it .
its currently setup for 2wd tail shaft . and it has a painted convertor in it . gm didnt paint them i have been told . only reman or aftermarkets .
its sitting on my trans jack now and fluids drained the best possible out the tail hanging from a engine hoist like a dead animal .

Thanks I’ll look into shipping but there is one about 130 miles from me for $200 with a np241 so I’ll probably go after it.
even if the trans needs a reman thats good price for all of the parts you need to get a good jump start .
Yea it beats the $1900 quote I got!
