What year did GM start making the 4X4 Crew Cab that isn't a Dually? I'm looking for a 4X4 Crew Cab pickup at a reasonable price, but don't think I'll be able to get this International since I can't get $2000 by Thanksgiving AND pay for my Explorer /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif

What would I be looking at paying for one that runs well and has minimal body damage/rust?

I believe it was '77 for the first year for a 1-ton 4x4 Crew Cab. I had a '77 Crew Cab 1-ton 4x4 that I got for $2000. They hold their value though; I traded it to a friend and he ended up having a total of $4100 into it within 3 months. I didn't think he'd get that back out of it, but he put an ad in, and it sold the first weekend.

thats a pretty sweet lookin truck to!! (your old 77) i would get rid of the blazer for one but you just never find one around here..if you do it would probobly be an old rusted out farm one or something lol..

You are asking for the crew cab, but not in the dually version?

If so, the crew cabs are available in 3/4 ton rating of the SRW version.

And now that you ask, I'm not real positive if there were crew cabs in 3/4 ton before '77 or not. /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

can i just ask a question lol...how many cars/trucks have you had..ive been going through your webshots for about 20 minuts now and have not gotten to the end yet haha.

i thought all crewcabs came 1 ton whether they were srw or dually...

A friend of mine bought a ex airforce 3/4 ton srw crew cab. It is a 1986 with a 350 v-8 , 400 turbo combo. I know were i can get a diffrent 86 3/4 ton srw grew cab in Iowa if you are intrested. Both of the trucks I talked about are 2wd /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

Nope. There are quite a few 3/4 ton crew cabs, both in 4x4 and 4x2, in SRW versions out there. And I mean...quite a few. /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

The dually versions are all 1 ton though. /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Wow... I like the white one you had... and the International one... /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

and klinkk5, how much is that crew cab, how does it run, could I drive it to Wyoming, etc...??? How about photographs?? I'm really looking for a 4wd pickup, and do have the Explorer for snow driving, so I'm not in a big hurry.... but might be interested in a 2wd one..

Well, I couldnt put all the pictures of every vehicle Ive had on webshots because there are about 3 or 4 I dont have pictures of, and I maxed out my account, so I have a bunch of other pictures not uploaded. I think I lost count a year ago.
