4x4 Dash Lamp Not Working...

I was just installing some LED dash lamps in my '84 Sub, and I noticed my 4x4 lamp doesn't, but it shows power. Does it ground to lite? The rest of the dash lites are fine. Where should I start?

Assuming the 4x4 light is the same idea as the later 205's, yes the switch grounds the bulb.

I'd pull the switch connector off the case, and ground it if single wire. If it's two wires, jumper the wires. Bulb should come on.

I think it runs through the same fuse as the dash lights too.

Might be unhooked or in the wrong place..

On my 89 he had the bulb in the hole for the left turn signal.. on that truck the 4x4 light had its own seperate wiring..

These trucks have dash indicators for 4x4?

ha! I've always just looked at that big lever on floor!

Always figured if someone knocked it into 4wd I'd at least know. No reason to look at the shifter if I didn't put it in 4wd, right? (granted, bigger problem with a 205)
