thanks for helping me prove I am a moron again d!! much apreciated. Course I may need to slap you now too... naw j/k  Guess I need to get more familiar with the google search page  :)

Ya, just click the "images" thing before you search. I use it a lot when I need to see pics of stuff.

I had one--well,not an el camino--

I had a 1972 Chevelle station wagon on a 69 suburban frame, that was cut and shortened to match the whelbase of the wagon--I bought it from friend in NH in 1989,and sold it in 1997,when I knew I was going to have a herder time getting a sticker on it--everyone was afraid I'd get them in trouble and the registry would yank their licence--

I have snapshots of it,it was a cool car,had a 454,Th350 tranny from a car, with a divorced rockwell transfer case--it drove and rode like it was factory, and even a few registry cops were impressed at how good it was biult,my friend has 30+ years of body shop and frame experience,he used all the original body mount locations,a very clean job,it had chevy vega bumpers under the original chevelle ones to meet the bumper height laws..

.I sold it for 1200 bucks, fool that I am,the motor was worth that alone--but it was a rust free florida car when I got it,when I sold it cancer had eaten a lot of the rear cargo area and the floors were getting thin,I got discouraged and sold it.I shoulda kept it and used it for a plow rig...wish I knew how to scan the pictures and upload them, but I'm computer ignorant--or at least a moron, for owning such a thing,as one poster stated..
