Hi, Ive got a 91 GMC 3500 Vandura 4x4 School Bus I got a few weeks ago.
The front spring bushings are all shot and I need to order some replacements or maybe just get new springs. I have no idea what kind of springs they are as it seems to be some unknown 4x4 conversion. I called offroad designs and they couldent figure it out either. Any ideas? Thanks

Lenth of spring eye to eye is 44"
Width of spring at eye is 2.5"
Diameter of eye is ~ 1.5"
Distance between the shackles is 3.5"

Alot of times they used offset centerpin springs on the front of vans since the wheels are so close to the front. I would just try a spring shop.

Sweet van!

I gotta ask where you got that from. There used to be one just like it real close to where I live.

It is actually from New York and still has NY plates so you may have seen it there. Small world. It used to be a working school bus to pick up the kids in rural snowy area's.

It has a D44 front and 14 bolt rear with 4:10's I believe. Rebuilt 350 and OD Tranny. It has a sink and shower with 30 gallon water cell 2 beds that connect into one full queen bed with storage under the bed and room for 2 dirt bikes when the beds are seperated. All the school bus stuff is still there, crossing lights, mirrors, CB, PA system...ect
It defiantly gets alot of attention everywhere it goes, more so once I paint it camo and get some 33" muds and black wheels. Ive been talking to some people and I think it just has stock 3/4 chevy springs in the front.

I thought that was it! I believe it was a beach buggy, it was 2 blocks from my house. Is that libba stickers on the front bumper?
