4x4 iron

Hey chevyjeff, Looks awesome. Who made the front bumper? And what is you lift/tire combo? I'm in the process of ordering some dp sliders. Do you have any pics from the side? All the ones I can find of the sliders are angled, and I'd love to see a side view. Thanks.

I am still making sliders, but bumpers are currently on hold due to a new job. Here's a pic of the last set I fabbed. This is one good looking K5. I have left the link to my site up to give people ideas of what can be done! :D

Welp, looks like I found a set of bumpers for my DD now, well when the wife will let me have another K5. I am pretty sure I will have to promise to keep this one legal though.......

First off I would like to say thanks for the compliments. I hope that our service has helped to advance K5's as we know and love them.

I did not realize that several of you have tried to contact us. We are shutting down production. It simply takes too much of my time. Several nights a week and every weekend. I enjoy making these, but also want to get to wheel more that one time per season as I only got to do last year. I have a son on the way in early June and plan to spend time enjoying his youth, so that leaves me with giving up something. 4x4 Iron drew the short straw.

I do have an 8" rear that is finished without currently having a home. It has a receiver, but nothing else. Could add a tire carrier or wrap, but am out of tire plates, so it would look different than the round plate.

We can still do kits. They would have mitered shackle lugs. Would take orders on these till mid next week.

Also have one classic with mitered shackle lugs

If anybody is interested in those you can reach us at 512-626-2161.

Thanks,
And maybe now I might actually get to see some of you while wheeling.

Tim

Man I can't believe 4x4iron is going out of business. I always just assumed you guys would be around when I finally had enough money to get your rear tire carrier bumper :doah:

On a side note, I ordered my front bumper from 4x4Armor (the guy who bult steves front bumper from waaay back when) back in december. Everything was going OK, slower than I expected but he has been in and out of the hospital. Then last week I get this email...

Sir,

Due to Fredd having a stroke again, all is delayed till I get parts, papers ands shipments sorted out.
This might take a few days.

Best
Mike.

:frown1:

Who knows when I will get my front bumper...

Sorry to hear that Tim. I understand, and I guess I'm lucky to get one of your last bumpers. By the way, it looks fantastic. I can't wait to get it mounted up.
