i have a one now but it doesn't seem to be water proof. seems like someone would be making one just for 4x4s

hi- i work part time at a parts store and the starter i use on my small block is one from a 96 or up gm vortec motor. its alot smaller and doesnt alow nearly as much mud and debris in- therefore it tends to last alot longer. the only change u have to do is get a shorter bolt to go along with it and bolt it up. its gear reducted and all- delco part #321-485 or like i said its a 96 or newer chevy 350 starter. well hope ive helped lata
