the white stuff is alkali. I think it is made when the salt form the ground gets moist for a long time or something like that. That is what we call the swamps. Note, in teh clip I was is low range 2nd gear in my 700R4 bouncing off 4500-5000 rpm and it doesn't even show. Here is the pic afterward:

Yeah! Looks like fun. I liked the shot of that Jeep squirling up the hill and kicking sideways for a second. Thought that was snow too rather than alkalai.
