5.3 Swap Headers

I'm about to dive into my swap and I want to have all of my ducks in a row. Now I know that f-body manifolds will work as well as Trailblazer SS manifolds. My question is: has anyone used aftermarket headers for a TBSS? I have to buy manifolds either way and haven't had much luck locating used TBSS manifolds. Another question: do 5.3 Trailblazer (XL) manifolds work? or only 6.0 SS manifolds? Thanks for any input!

a member here let them use his ls swaped k5 for r&d for long tube headers and NOT contact the front shackles .

According to the research I have done, a set of '98-'02 F body long tube headers will fit with no modification.

I happen to have a stainless set of those im selling! I think they would clear quite well. They hug the **** out of the block.

I have read that some places and others say that they have to be modified... not so sure at this point.
