Now that I have your attention. I have a little place to work now, and I have a lot of chevy stuff I can get my hand on. My friend has a tow company and comes a cross a lot of stuff. I was thinking about a little side business for myself. right now I can get a 84 3/4 ton 4x4 sub, 78 K5, 79 3/4 ton 4x4 p/u, 77 3/4 ton 4x4 p/u. So what do you guys think would there be a lot of interest here??? Also I think it would be fun to help out some guys that are into the same trucks I am. Please let me know what you guys think.

Forgot a 90 sub and a 84 M1008 will be added most likly. Sub i pretty good, M1008 had a hard lif and does run.

this is what i want to do some day, have a setup with either a good sized wrecker and.or a flat bed rollback, and a place to have it all with a forktruck and such to get them apart faster with and a building to shelve and mark parts inventory like,

ill do it eventualy, maybe i can get a grtant somehow to start up a business and have towing and recovery and long distance hauling/pickup/delivery too. all i need is a diesel 1 ton dually pickup and a nice big trailer and another person around to help locally and another to help with driving


some day, a trailer can be an office and just need soem old junk land around here to pickup for a deal, and go from there. i would try to get in with this guy you know with the towing setup, if you can, do what he needs done, kinda become part of it then maybe later on he will help you with getting a little land somewhere and a wrecker or something,. etc.
i need ot do this myself with one of these local towing guys, a coupel of them are recovery to,o are on call tot he county and city at all times, i would love to be liek that, drool!

How much you want for all of the hinges for the second doors on the Burb?

I'm looking for the hinges for the passenger doors, not the cargo doors.

I'm working on a little project with all my doors (less the cargo area) and need to get another set of hinges. I got the front doors covered but there really arn't any crew cabs or Burbs in the yards near here to get the second door hinges from. /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif
 
The m1008 is on the way here. I can tell you this it was used hard. does run, but TMU. mike
