$500 '78-79 3/4ton 'Burb

After loosin the ctd a couple days ago, I need a dd and temp tow rig baaaad. So this guy at work, his gf's parents have this late '70's 'Burb for sale. 350/465/205. 10b and 14b. Runs great so I'm told. Completely stock. Drove by and just glanced at it, body is straight except for the rf fender, bashed in a bit, but I have a fender or 5 so thats not an issue. Won't pass smog apparently...But I think for $500 I can afford to make it pass smog. Hopefully gonna go check it out alittle more carefully in the morning. Been sittin for a year or so, if I can get it goin, I'll prolly drive it home. Wish me luck.

500 sounds great, with your luck and knowlage you could cne the filters oil and plugs and she pass with flyin colors!!

uhm yeah id probably drive it sinc eits already 3/4 ton and 205 and whole nine yards, it would be insane to not drive it with it being a 350 465 205 3/4 ton

Havent stole it yet....Still tryin to get ahold of the guy. Hasn't been home the last few times I've tried to call. It's kinda funny to look at stock trucks of this year....This one is stock right down to the wheels and hubcaps.

Dude, you don't even wanna know the story behind the ctd thing....I didn't have to give it up, but it was like a huge 700lb monkey off my back to do it.


The truggy is green stickered like an ATV and no way I'd ever beable to get it smogged and street legal again....
