500 Caddy Drivetrain Parts, T400, 203/205 Dubbler, other parts in AZ

Thinking about swapping in a Cad?? We need to talk.

Here's what I got:

Stripped 80's Blazer frame (no title) $100

MOO Engine Crossmember w/ 500 Engine Mounts $150

72 Caddy 500 Engine [builder] $350

BOP T400 Tranny w/32 spline 4x4 output shaft, have receipt from Tranny shop in Tucson for $671 to build, includes new converter - $550.

32 spline 203 clocked flat [203 rebuilt by ORD, shift lever @ 12 o'clock], ORD Doubler Adapter [steel],
Ford 31 Spline 205 clocked flat to drivers output side [note: output flanges not incuded] Whole Doubler Deal SOLD!!!.

ORD 2.5" shacke flip (never used) $100

Rebuilt/Re-arched 57" Ford Springs $100

Parting all this stuff out. Make me an offer. Only for Pickup in Az. no shipping.

I'd love to have that doubler setup if you were closer. here's a bump for ya anyhow.

As far as a 205.... Beats the F outta me.... Anyone know if the 203 shaft is different than the 205 for a T400??? :dunno:


Kert: Funny thing you mention that.... I guess I'm getting ANOTHER 500 w/ this deal. I guess one is a 72 and the other is a 76. I need to make someone a deal on both because I guess the ultimate Caddy 500 uses the early heads and oil pan and the later block and accessory brackets... :what: or something like that....!?!??! Anyway, I got it all.

sorry for this semi-hijack but just curious, is the tranny/doubler setup still available, maybe a combo deal, and if you ran this on the highway, what RPMs were you seeing , i don't really have the money now but i'm not that far away and am debating whether to go th400 or 4l80e

Looks like I've got a local deal brewing on the double cases. Funny, I may have to swap out the 32 spline 203 for a 27 in order to make the deal....

But I still have the T400 and I may still have a 32 spline 203 when it's done...

As far as 4L80 / T400 - you just gotta decide if you need that OD. T400 would be cheaper I'm sure.... You running Caddy motor?

i actually have a relatively fresh t400 and 32 spline 203 in my garage but just couldn't pass up checking on a complete setup like that for the price

and i don't know a lot about the caddy motor, do guys run them just for the availability and large displacement or are they a strong, reliable motor?

Funny, I ended up with the doubler... awesome set up, but not needed.

Now in New England and for sale, same price.
