Haven’t been on much but getting back into my Suburban a bit. Figured I would show you guys what’s been consuming my time lately.

Frenched head and tail lights

C notched and four link rear
Mustang II front end
302 Roller crate motor
New AOD trans
Dakota gauges


It’s pretty much done minus the stereo and I’d like to put a power rack on it. I believe between the seams and shaving, there are 35 pieces of custom body work.

Unfortunately/Fortunately not.

I am not a body guy at all, and was looking for a roller that had the body done. I found an older guy in Iowa that had built this one and it 600 miles on everything. I was shocked at how well it was built and the body work.

It’s been on a rotisserie and has new floors/trunk. Everything seam sealed and etching primer underneath. I couldn’t justify building it myself when this was very close to what I wanted. I flew in and drove it 700 miles home.

There have been just a few things that needed addressing and I’ve been checking them off.

Got the AC working, header collector leaks addressed, and other odds and ends.

Next on the list is stereo but I’d like to add a remote for the poppers. Right now they are hidden and can be a pain.

I’m contemplating adding baby moons to the wheels. But honestly, I’m not loving the bias ply tires.

I’ve been driving it a ton and have tripled the mileage on it. The kids love it but get embarrassed by the attention.
