I've just learned the error of my ways. /forums/images/graemlins/whistling.gif

400HP/1000ftlbs of CTD power at the push of an LED screen button, full black leather interior, power everything, quiet inside, a pickup bed, 4 doors, 4 linked suspension, D60/D80, 6 spd manual, much more attractive body design....basically a very nice truck inside and out that is compfortable to drive evryday and safe to tow heavy with, nicer than any K5 IMHO. /forums/images/graemlins/whistling.gif

New trucks are just so dang nice! /forums/images/graemlins/pimp1.gif I need something I can tow our 3 axle gooseneck with and be able to haul stuff not to mention something very reliable because I am starting to drive a lot of miles these days with work. And I just want something newer. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif Todays diesel power is where it's at IMHO.

The K5 will be a trail truck probably because of a lack or registration tags. /forums/images/graemlins/histerical.gif

Maybe then everyone wouldn't make fun of me and call me the blingmaster. [tear] /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif....... /forums/images/graemlins/rotfl.gif

Ok bad trader /forums/images/graemlins/histerical.gif already we have gotten so far off topic ...... /forums/images/graemlins/histerical.gif thats great,. i cant afford a 30 grand truck though /forums/images/graemlins/histerical.gif i just want my blazer, w/all the goodeis. /forums/images/graemlins/peace.gifFully loaded kick ass wheelin machine /forums/images/graemlins/peace.gif Im sure you wouldnt feel so bad if the whole smog issue diddnt come into play /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gifThese blazers are bad ass /forums/images/graemlins/peace.gif BTW everybody seems to think the 35s would be killer w/513s.

I'd rather run my 35" boggers offroad than the fun countries because they aren't but about 2-3" taller than my boggers and they grip much better. I want 15's for the safety bead (which is what the Fc's are) and he wants 16.5" for the ease of no grinding on the 60. Plus the boggers look good. Just seemed like the cheapest rout for both of us...we just need to find wheels for both sets of tires and I will put my 14's on the CTD. surpip probably said 17's because they have a safety bead.

thats right plus they (tire companies) are moving toward the 17 in tire too, you see it alot in CALROCK and pro off road events /forums/images/graemlins/waytogo.gif

Not really, I have gotten close to getting it smogged and it actually saddened me thinking about DD'ing it for another 2 years and dumping more money into it. It's reliability and towing capabilities are not up to task for me any more.

Unless youve done serious wheeling and i stronly think you havent since the last time i saw you, i want the boggs, agressive and badass*** good deal for everyone /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif besides, tires can be gone throgh like shoes /forums/images/graemlins/histerical.gif soon will both be warn and time for new anyway /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

The shift kit does not like it, the ujoints scream everytime it shifts and it tops out about 55 without bumping up over 3K in Drive. I've got 4.56's here waiting to go in but haven't had the time to rip the axles down.

power? I love 4.56 with 38's and a big block...she's moves just fine /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

what's the rpm range does a 350 tbi like to be in? I'm running and 350/400/4.10 and 36's.
right know I'm at 2487rpm at 65mph
I would like go to 4.56's but I would be in the ball park of 2766rpm at 65mph.

You might want to ask nvrenuf about those 5.13 gears & 35"bfg with the 4l80e. He was running those gears but I believe he switched back to 4.56.
