Anybody done it on 1 ton truck yet?
On mine it doesn't look like there will be any room to have a decent shackle angle. The spring will hit the frame(I think)
The pictures should explain a little more, the black line is where the 1/2 and 2/4 ton frames stop compared to the 1 ton.

I am using 6.5" shackles. The red line is apporiximately where the shackle will be.(only moving the front mount forward 2" so I could reuse the stock location for the rear mount)

I may end up using some 56" springs and modifying the cab body mount.

i believe muddybuddy is runnig lifted 52's on a k30 frame and has the shackle mount in the stock location. He has some posts floating around here somewhere with some good pics, look for em and i'm sure you will get an idea of what your in for.

So this is the new project? Man I loved your other rig, hope the new owner will "use " it.

Yeah new project. Probably not as extreme as the old one, but I am shooting for everything to be real clean, but very useable.

I think the new owner will definately use it, maybe not down in moab, but definately on his Ranch. He has about a million acres of BLM land surrounding him that he allowed to wheel on. Sounded like he will have all sorts of fun.

Anyone else done the swap on a 1 ton?
