I want to do the spring swap thing to get my K5 flexing more. I currently have 6" lift front springs and 4" shackle flip and 2" lift springs in the rear. sitting on D60 and 14BFF. I have an A bomb waiting to go in and can switch the rear shackle flip to accommodate longer rear springs.

If i move the rear springs to the front, does that accomplish the 6" of lift for the front? I thought i read somewhere that 52" springs from the back provide 4" of lift for the front. Since my rear is 2" of lift MAYBE that would add up to the 6" i currently have.

Recommendations for the rear spring purchase to accomplish the 6" of lift for the back (so a 2" lift spring)

Thank you everyone for your help!

Your rears up front would give you your 6". I'd put a longer shackle up there if you haven't already.

As for the back, myself I'd try and get the same brand and kind you have now.. I have no basis of 'why' I say this other than I feel it would maybe keep the ride even front to back

that was the plan during the swap was to go longer on the shackles from DIY4X

Yep, like Shady said you'll be right at 6". I run 2" lift 52's up front.

Probably have to bug them new from "off road design" Or summit racing even.. there's quite a few places that have em.

I believe Tuff Country makes them, ORD or Diy4x.

Last I saw, Rough Country was the only one making a 2" lift 56".

Also, keep in mind that aftermarket 56's are built for 3/4 and 1 ton trucks, and especially with Rough Country I wouldn't expect a lot as far as soft/flexible.

friend had 6" 52" in his long bed and full cut/split fire wood to the top of the cam nice and neat . even the tail gate was used . . maybe dropped 1/2-3/4" was all . there cheep lift kits for a reason .

maybe go 4" 52" rear springs and drop to a 2.5" flip kit or go back to stock and a baby lift block to level the rear out .

or good stock 52" springs and custom front hanger that drops 2" for the lift needed to match the 6" total you have . i think DIY4X did some of these hangers before for some people . ? ?

They supposedly have problems with bending up past flat. May give you more droop, but you would almost certainly have to limit your up travel.
