52\" front swap question

i have reaserched this but can't find it. is crossover steering absolutely nessisary for this? i dont have the $$$ to do crossover but i have everything else.

i don't plan on crawlin any rocks anytime soon, just some mud, sand, and a few trails. i dont wanna move my axle forward or rear, so i'll move the front hanger forward 2" and mess with the shackle till i get it where i want it.

Re: 52\" front swap question

yup, i think it will pull in the neighborhood of 18" of articulated travel, about 15" of straight up and down travel and the stock steering wont work with that, and the fact that your making the draglink 2" shorter.

Oh wait your not moving the axle, but i would still try and run crossover if at all possible.

Re: 52\" front swap question

i was gonna keep it in the stock position so the drag link would stay the same length.

i didn't know you would get that much travel with it, 15" of travel with a 20" draglink. it would probably be about 50*, the DRE would be the limiting factor /forums/images/graemlins/doah.gif

i guess its out for the cheap lift. /forums/images/graemlins/thinking.gif /forums/images/graemlins/thinking.gif
