I posted a wanted craigslist ad for rear leaf springs to do a 52" swap for the front. I just got a response from someone with springs from a 1985 C10. Will those be fine? Any tips on what to check for their condition?

Also, for those that have done 52" up front, what length brake lines are you running? I had ordered the 4-6" lift extended lines from ORD a few months back, but haven't installed them yet. I was waiting to do the front suspension upgrades. Now looking at some of those flex pics with 52", I think they may not be long enough.

I don't think there is too much difference in springs from a 2wd to 4wd. The height from a 4wd comes in from the longer hangers.

I'm running the 6" lift skyjacker brake lines that are on the summit site. I'm not quite allowing full droop yet (can't afford a 7" slipyoke this year) but they have quite a bit of length left. I run a short carb spring ziptied to the shock. It pulls them away from the calipers (they are way too long at ride height) so they're safe, but you can easily stretch it out.

that isn't even quite to the limiter yet :) I love running 52"/64".
