Re: 52 or 56\"?

I'm not positive, but I think all Sub's have holes in the frame for both mount locations. (Same frame)

I moved my ORD-flip back 4-inches to convert. /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

Re: 52 or 56\"?

My 75 burb's frame does not have the holes to move the hangers back to the 56" spring location. That might of been something they started doing at a later time if they did do that. I've never looked at others to confirm tho.

Damn, I thought I knew that one... /forums/images/graemlins/doah.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Re: 52 or 56\"?

alot of 80 and older 1/2 tons ran 56" 8 leaf packs, it was with the chevy Big 10 and gmc Heavy Half trucks, 2 and 4 wheel drive

some 77-79 or so 3/4 tons used 52" thicker packs, ive had a 77 K2500 gmc pickup that was 52 rear even iwth three leaf front packs and sway bar and all

longer pack would ride a lil softer than shorter pack with same number of leaves

gm was odd
