So I started my 52" spring swap today, I am still a newbie so I am ready for any comments that you might have. But my real question is, have any of you had the problem that I am having. The forward (front of rig) bottom spring hanger bolt or hole is about 1" away from the frame. Do I need to swap (left to right) hangers or just let it be. Please help. My swap looks nothing like the tech article. Thanks.

I had the same issue when I did mine. I had to build the lower lip of the frame out flat to catch the bolt hole.

When I did my 52" spring swap I cut out the factory perchs and built my own. This did away with most of the issues that u are having.
Here's a couple shots for you to see what I did.
