Has any one had to move the shock mount bracket on a 79 dana 44 axle to do the swap? Im aware of the shock towers, just need to know about the axle mounting points.

All of the GM front housings that I've seen basicly have the same mounting point for the shocks and should work with a 52 inch spring without modification unless you're mounting the shocks at a different angle than stock.
