So I'm now down to needing a front driveline...

I dont want the driveline to be the limiting factor when it comes to flex...
I dont plan on driving at 60 mph down the freeway in 4 wheel drive either...

what are you guy's with the 52's up front doing for a driveline? lengthen the front stock one, and grind some clearance? I've heard of running the offset u-joint for a little extra clearance...

Dont really want a square tube driveline, but might go that route...
And the price tag with a high end drive line just scares me... :doah:

So convert the 205 to a 32 spline fixed yoke, put a 1410 yoke on hte dana 60, get 2 more 1410 yokes, tube and a slip...

hmm...
Is there a "bolt on" 1410 yoke that will bolt to the flange on my 205?

You need the 32 spline front output to use a 1410 joint. I got mine from a Ford case that I picked up cheap (all Ford 205's have a 31 spline input and 32 spline outputs and the parts are interchangeable).

I bought all the materials for my front shaft brand new (its hard to find 1410 shafts to cut apart) and I think I spent ~$70. Yokes were ~$60-80 each.

I'm setting up my blazer right now with the 52" front springs. I was going to use square tube, but when I was picking up parts for my friends tractor, I noticed that the sell male and female PTO shaft cut to length. So I'm thinking of trying that out. I think it might help when it comes to inspection also, I'm going to need all the help I can get. LOL
