Hey Guys,
So I decided since I had 52" springs around to swap out the front springs. I already ground off all the factory rivets  and moved the front hangers up and the rear hangers up (rear holes to the front holes). I got all new bushings for the springs and rear hangers and 6" shackles.
My Questions:

1. With 6" shackles and a doubler 203/205, will I need to shim the axle to correct pinion angle? If so how much?

2. From what I have read I should mount the shocks vertical. I have a set of tube shock tabs for my D60 that I was planning on welding to the top of the axle, any ideas on a top mount?

3. I have a swaybar disconnect/correction kit from ORD. Can I still use a swaybar with this setup?

I already have crossover but not high steer. Have not ordered HAD front shaft or purchased shocks yet so I can measure what I need there.

I appreciate any help or ideas. I went to Blazer Bash in like 01 and blew up my 1/2ton stuff. Since then I have been out of the game but decided to finally build up the Blaze right and get wheelin with all you guys. I can tear stuff apart and put it back together but dont have the 4x4 building experience you all have. Thanks for the info.

FYI: specs so far:
1977 K5, D70 Spool, D60 ARB, both 4.56 with 1410 yolks, rear shackle flip, front 52" (hopefully)
454 stock w/ headers edelbrock intake and Q-jet, TH400, 203/205 w HAD 1-ton flange and Triple stick, stock H1 wheels with 39.5 IROK

1. I don't know if anybody can give you a definitive answer, every truck is a little different.

2. A hoop or the super duty shock mounts (search).

3. Most people will tell you the swaybar is not going to work with 52's and/or crossover - but I'd like to see a creative solution. It would have to be radically different though.

Not looking for anything definitive. Just what has worked for others. Any ideas, things others did that havn't turned out well in the long run exc...

Nice

Jason nice setup! Looks exactly like something I would like to do. Thanks for the pics. Are those ford towers with a custom cross brace or did you get a kit somewhere. I noticed your in AZ, like I mentioned I am just looking to get back into wheelin maybe I could stop by and take a look at your rig.

How far out on the axle did you mount the shock? Right at the knuckle?

Actually, those are pics of Badass90k5's blazer, he lives in town too though. I believe he mounted them right at the "c". anywa, I'm sure he will let you look, You have to pm him though, he's a little deaf so he doesn't talk on the phone.

Also, make sure you check out locooffroad.com, it is a bunch of the locals, more wheeling buddies.
