Reading all the 52" threads is enough to make your head spin. I'm getting ready to do 56's in the rear and then swap to 52's up front. Right now I'm running 3" front springs with the rear hanger moved forward and 6" shackles. To go to 52's can I just leave that set up? Also the front hanger/rad support mounts, they can just be swapped side to side? Here is the current set up.

So, right now your running 3" lift 47" springs and you moved those forward??

He just moved the rear hanger forward for a better shackle angle.

Wayne, from what I know about the 52 swap, your best bet would be to use Kert's b52 hangers on the front. You should be fine with your already moved rear upper hangers, and with the multi mounting holes on the b52's I would think you would be good to go. :D

Well it depends on what specifically you want. If you swap the front hangers (there are two ways to do it) and you are ok with the axle moving forward, then yes, your rear shackle may be fine. I just did it and left the stock shackle arrangement for now (and it looks fine). Its more lift than I wanted, but it was about the easiest way to shift the axle forward.

Here is the swap with stock rear hangers:

As shown in the tech section, 52" spring swap writeup, you can leave the body mounts riveted to the frame and just move hanger brackets (which is the better way to do it).

Cool. You going with bigger tires or just looking for more flex? Those are Pete's old 42's in the picture btw.

Looking for more flex right now plus right now I've been running a bent driver side front spring for awhile. We plan on going to 40's sometime. So are you planning to get back to Pa and wheel sometime?

I wish, but no plans for wheeling any time soon. Been just a webwheeler since leaving PA :doah:
There is nothing like RC and PAP out here, though a couple pay to play parks did just open up, so there is some hope.

Well, since I have a towrig and trailer now maybe sometime in the future I can head your way for a weekend of wheeling.

Weld-On Spring Hanger Pair

We got a request to add these to our product line and liked the idea so here ya go.

1/4" thick steel. 4 sping mount points for some adjustability in your build. Stocked with 9/16" diameter chamferred holes and 3" inside the walls. We can make some alterations on these for hole diamter and can go wider if needed. Also readily adaptable for tubing. Couple different ways we can do this so give me a shout and we can discuss your needs.

Part no. 01410 - - $22.00 pair.

Yeah, my bumper will be in the way too. I'm already planning to do some fabbing.
