THIS COULD BE A LONG SHOT, BUT I HAVE A 53 PANEL TRUCK (SAME AS A 53 BURBAN) AND THE REAR DOOR HAS NO LATCH TO LOCK INTO THE OTHER DOOR. THE ENTIRE ASSEMBLY IS GONE. ANYONE HAVE ONE OR AN IDEA ON WHAT TO DO TO GET MY DOOR TO LATCH?

Have you tried Yogis Inc? I know they have the side door latches.
And where is the build thread for this?
WELL, I DON'T HAVE A BUILD THREAD FOR IT YET. I WAS LOOKING THROUGH THE FORUM AND SAW THIS SO I THOUGHT I'D ASK. I LOOKED ON THEIR SITE AND THEY HAVE ONE FOR THE 55 GENERATION OF PANEL NOT ANY EARLIER. THAT SITE IS AWESOME THOUGH, THANKS FOR LEADING ME TO IT.
You might want to call them. Not everything they have is on the site. Or at least in the past. Some of these guys have used ones they do not advertise.
I have found sometimes the latch itself is the same as a passenger side front door on some applications.
