Does anyone ride on the new 54" Super Swamper Boggers? if so does anyone use them without fender trimming? will they fit with 12" of lift, do you think?

I dont know of anybody on here running them, at least not active users. Without trimming no way. If your suspension moves at all almost any tire over a 33 will rub somewhere. Our fenders just arent that big. I have no idea if 12" would clear them. Probably not..they are huge tires.

I don't think 44's will clear on a 12" without trimming if you travel at all.

With my 13" superlift springs I have 6"-7" or so of clearance between the tire and fender well bottom corners.. so theoretically thats another 12-14 inches of tire I could run (12"-14" more than a 38.5" tire) while including sometype of limiting device... (calculations are takes from center of rim outwards)

i have 38.5" tall tires now and 44s will clear no problem

One of the 4by rags did a long bed chevy some years back. They used 12" lift springs,+ a 3" body lift and still had to trim just to clear 44's. So Im gunna say NO 54's wont clear.

They didnt have any problems until they went off road, it was then they had to trim the fenders. MTBLAZER89 is correct the opening just isnt big enough, its like a 12" peg in a 8" hole.

As for RIPPEDK5, you need to recalculate to take in the steering movment, then figure in axle movment both up and down and front to back. As your springs compress the axle will move up and back, now throw in a full lock turn, and something is gunna rub.

Check chiefheaphy's thread in the 73-91 section. He's running tons of lift and 49s.

I've got 16" lift total lift and 44's. I'm fine on the street but can barely flex at all without eating the fenders. I went through a ditch a few weeks ago and about tore the pass fender all to hell. I had to beat the chrome trim back and screw it back down, lol. I'm thinking about putting a zero rate in the front and moving the axle forward some to help it out. I really don't want to cut my fenders if'n I don't have to. :o
