My sub weighs 5412 lbs.

I think that's pretty good for 3/4 ton axles, and 35's.

Now I just gotta trim the frame, relocate the tank, ditch the skid plate, and remove the roof, and I think the burb could weigh as much as a stock K5...

Well hopefully. I wanna ditch enough weight to make up for a full cage, and boatside... I think the bench is coming out too... and some good bucket seats.

This is pretty much a pointless thread, I am just excited about the weight.

Really, eh?

Wow, I didn't expect that.

Now I kinda left this tidbit of information out, but I didn't weigh the truck trail ready. But it always has a tool chest in the back, so that was part of the weight, plus enough fluids and filters to change the oil, replace coolant, and air filter.

But yeah, no jack, no shovel, no spare parts (but I don't have any anyways...)

That is pretty good. I weighed by 2500HD the other day. It tipped the scales at 6200 lbs. It is a 6.0. 4x4, extended cab full of gas.

The wifes ML320 weighed in at 5600 lbs. and I would consider it a midsize SUV...

There are several other threads on weight but my K5, stock other than a winch/bumper (probably added 150 lbs.) without the top weighed 4600 lbs.

5400 is reasonably light for a burb though.
