'55 stepside bed on '69-'72 truck?

I used to own a '56 and I'm pretty sure the 69-72 beds are different. The only difference MIGHT be in the fenders.

EDIT: I think they are the SAME, possibly with different fenders.

I can make it bolt on, no problem, same or not. I'm curious how it looks - if those awesome '55 fender body lines line up with the cab halfway.

Photoshopped this 55 onto this 72 (scroll 3/4 down the page).....
dunno, I'm not sure the "squarer" 55 fender arches work..... and since this was a quick Photoshop, I may not have the proportions right either, so in real life it may look more hokey.

You are the man! I didn't think about the fender openings, I was more thinking about the body lines. I may try it and see how it looks. Thanks!

I am actualy going to blend both fenders for my 67.
Basicly adding the lower body line and wheel arch from the 67-72 to the 55-66 fenders.

This guy is a body work god LOL anyway I modified the pic to look like this just to give my body guy an idea.
