I need the set with the offset center-pin,
24inches on one side, 32 inches on the other. As close to Utah as I can get.

The 22/34 is an error. That dimension does not exist. Per AAA spring SLC, UT

Have you tried car-part.com yet? Maybe something close to UT.

Are these for a front spring conversion?

Question for ya - what year span of G-30 Van’s are these 22/34 offset springs from ?
Just want to know to narrow down my search because I could use a set with these dimensions as well - never thought about looking at the G-30 springs.

Thanks, Tom

I was told any of the 90 up through when ever they stopped making that series.
I was also told to lay eyes on them before I buy them , as about 25% of them the centering pin is actually in the center at 28 inches. Which wouldn’t help at all.

I’m probably gonna pop down to the local AAA spring . See how many bones I need to cough up to have 5 leaf pack made up with those dimensions.

95 was the last year of the g series

Another question - I’ve been researching this 22/34 G-30 spring thing and with your info on the 1990 on up trivia has made me wonder if this is the application for this oddball spring pack ?
Apparently in 1990 GM started offering the G-30’s in the 15 passenger 146” wheelbase ( previously only available as a cutaway chassis in 146” WB models ) where as before the only passenger type G-30’s were 125” WB only.
If the ‘90~’95 15 passenger 146” WB vans were/are the ones with this spring dimensions that would make sense for the low production numbers and go along with what you mentioned.

Does this go along with the place that gave you the information on this stuff ?

Just trying to target and narrow down what to look out for.

Thanks Tom

So perhaps the 146" wheelbase cab/chassis vans also have the springs you are looking for?
I would think you would have success finding those ones over the hard to find 15 passenger van springs.

I was thinking that as well but then it occurred to me that the center pin possibly was located forward to allow the wheel opening to be better suited for this non-cutaway model - as in maybe more aft interior wheel well placement for more rearward area cargo room without increasing the overall body length ?

From what I’ve found so far the 146” cutaway chassis's are 28/28 dimensions - maybe some are 22/34 though ?

The information came straight from Keith Blazer (kgblazerfive) here on CK5.
I’ll be calling up AAA spring tomorrow, here in the 801 to see what it’s going to take to get a set of these.

OK,
Got some solid information.
AAA spring out of SLC can get the 56 inch springs that have the 26/30 offset. They’re $300 per spring.
Now, that won’t necessarily solve my issue. As when mounted to an Abomb front winch mount that’s only gaining 2 inches of forward movement of the axle.
I need close to 4 inches.
The nice people there explained to me the cheapest (and, probably the best way. For me anyway) way to do this.
Bring down the mainspring of what I’m using now (which is 5 leaf set of 52 inch springs from the rear of a Chevrolet K10)
They instructed me to bring them the main spring from one of the 5 leaf, 52 inch springs I’m using. They can duplicate that, without drilling the center pin hole. Then I can use my existing loose leafs to build whatever I need. Cutting off excess lengths, if needed. To get the center pin where I want it, and get the number of leaves I want.
He said they will charge me $120 to make that custom main leaf, no hole, no bushings. Two custom main leaves will be $240.
It’s either that or go coils. Which is an entire different story.

They also said, I could order just 26/30 main spring, and build from there. Hmmmmmm…
