56\" rear leafs

how difficult is it to use 52" replacement springs on a truck originally having 56"s? Does the rear perch just ubolt and move foreward or does it need to be welded? The only 2-3" lift I have found with 56" rears is RC and I have been told they are too stiff, so I want to go TC ez ride. thanks /forums/images/graemlins/dunno.gif

By people who own RC or from people who heard from people who heard from...?

just do a shackle flip with some stock 56's. 4" right there. /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

I'll find out soon enough though. apparently RC's new springs are double tapered and have teflon pads between them like TC and Superlift. I just ordered a 2" lift and will post what I think when I am finished installing it.

I have 6" Rough Country springs with the pads and they ride great. You will like them.

I hope so. I went with a 2" since I have new 32's I need to wear out before I go to 33s or 35's. At that point I'll do a shackle flip to get me 6". Also, I thought that the flatter springs in the 2" would ride the best. In case you can't tell, my wife and son ride in it alot. Thanks for you input.
