Hey fellas. Heres a pic of the C30 rear 56's I pulled outa the junkyard yesterday. These suckers are HEAVY. I have a Trazer and wondering how many leaves and which ones to run? I have no bed on my rig and only about 52' of tubing (113lbs). It will be offroad 90% of the time and want it to flex good but still not have ujoint breaking wheelhop when I wanna put the hammer down. Please advise...

I think I would pull out those bottom two leafs, the ones that aren't clamped, and go from there. See how you like it, then you cand decide if u want to pull another or add one back

pull the bottom 3 out and see how it feels. most people run 5/6 leaves on stock 56's

yall are always the first to answer my posts. lol. I was thinking of pulling 3 or 4 (im really light out back) and keeping the overload. Keep the overload right? So just pull from the bottom? What about every other leaf? Wheres a good place to get new centerpins and clamps? Or ditch the clamp?

I would assume you could get center pins and clamps at your local spring place, if you have one. You can also use grd. 8 allen bolts for centerpins. I don't know what size they are though.

well, I pulled the packs apart tonight. Im thinking of running 4 leafs plus the overload. I put together the Main leaf, 2nd, 4th, and 6th( one w/ clamp) and then the overload. Hows that sound? Anyone with experience out there?

In theory the ends of the leafs should be evenly spaced along each half, so you are probly about right. Dunno about real world experience though - but somebody will have their $.02 to share. :D

Ok. So I have a new question. Should I use the spring with the droop limiting brackets? I also ordered some 0.08" thick adhesive backed UHMW to replace the worn out pads. Is that going to be thick enough? (its only going on the ends)
