56" shacles

im puttin 56"s or 57"s up front on my k5 can i use 6" shacles or do i need to go to 7. somthins? if so what is it again like 7.45 eye to eye?

6's would have the spring eye hitting the frame at ride height. Mine are 7", and I wish I had done the extra 1/4", the spring eyes barely touch at full stuff

I had 6" on mine and yeah....i never drove it till i got the 7-1/4 on it.
