You mean what years or models did the 56s come on?

I know they come on a variety of trucks but I always found them off 3/4 ton or 1 ton trucks. I've heard of them being on half ton subs before.

I just search cl for 56s and have gotten lucky twice.

Depends on which spring pack you're looking for as well, the flexy nice riding ones came under suburbans (5 leaf plus overload I believe) the heavy duty 7-8 leaf packs are usually under the 8600lb + GVW 3/4 and 1 ton trucks. "Light duty" 3/4 and 1/2 ton trucks are a toss up and can be 52s or either type of 56s from what I've seen.

I've got a pair of the softer 56s that I don't think ill be using in the garage from a 91 burb. I've been keeping them around just in case but I could be talked out of them. If you're in the bay I'm not far from you

Yeah the ones that came on my 73 3/4 ton are the 5 leafs but it was a single cab. I just pulled a few leafs out of the old 7 pack I had and it's perfect.

Where are you located?

Don't be scared of the 3/4 ton suburban spring packs. Yes they have 7 plus over load but my blazer rides really really nice with them. They still have all 7 leaves and are PLENTY flexible if you haven't seen any of my videos. I flipped the overload over and that acts like my bumpstop :D

Cool, they'll be here whenever. I'm not actively trying to sell them or anything, just part of my little treasure collection.

With most shackle flip kits you will need to swap the brackets from side to side in order to move the mounting point of the springs back. I say most because the Sky shackle flip I have already has a second shackle mounting point drilled in it, but the ORD and believe DIY4X brackets will need removed and swapped to the other side.

You should do more than just flip them side to side, the shackle mount points need to be moved back a total of 3-4" and flipping the brackets only gets you 2". The springs will behave softer if you stand the shackle up more and 56s are typically a heavier rated spring so getting the shackle angle right can be more important than with a softer pack.
