These look WAY better in person than in the pics! Mine are just like Brad's, but his are a perfect circle at the ends and mine are shaped like \_/
I don't remember exactly how thick they are anymore, but I am sure that Brad does, or I could measure them tomarrow after work.

3/8" at top 5/8" at bottom

what made you decide to go 56's up front rather than 52's?

Didnt want to move the shackle mount to achieve a good shackle angle.
