When using the B52 brackets and mounting 56" springs to the very front hole, does the shackle hole have to be relocated or can it work in the factory position? And how long of a shackle also?

There's a dude on youtube who has a few vids of him putting 56's under the front of his k5 (just search skull crusher videos, you will find them). If I remember right, he kept his shackle hanger in the stock location with kert's 7.25 shackle. The angle still looked a little flat, but looks like he was rockin it pretty well. And he put the front spring in the furthest whole forward on the b-52 brackets

what he said, front hole, stock location on rear with 7.25 shackles. had it on my truck with 56's

So, when done like that, where does that put the location of the front axle vs stock?

For the original question, are thinking about this on a 1/2-3/4 ton or a K30? Reason I ask is because on a K30 it's a different story as the frame drops down a considerable amount just behind the shackle hanger and honestly even with the springs in the front hole they will hit the frame.

So that's why I needed so d*mn long shackles to clear the frame, when everybody else got by with much shorter ones :doah:
(K30 on 56's with front hanger moved 4" forward)
