my 454 HO i just picked up from the Freight Terminal tipped the scales at 690#.
maybe add another 100# for everthing.
the 572 is a tall deck so im sure its a tad more.

I hope to god one day I have the opportunity to tell you how much a 572 weighs. A guy I met on vacation put a fuel injected version in an El Camino, and it is ridiculous fast. It was on "overhaulin". I would kill for that engine. It was like $19,000. Sorry, got a little excited there....
