I was wondering if anybody had a picture and dimensions of a TV cable linkage rod and bracket from a 6.2/700r4. I cannot source a used/repro one and have to fabricate. I was considering using a cruise control linkage rod as a platform.

Have you checked the LMC catalogs?? I was just thinking they might have those parts

6.2 Diesel, He needs the bracket that the TV cable hooks to on the Intake. and then he needs the extension rod that goes to the IP pump

Here is what you are looking for.
A 700r4 will only work with a drive by cable system not a drive by wire setup.

I understand this, ive ran the transmission in gasers before but never a diesel. The diesel versions have a linkage rod that goes between the throttle linkage and the tv cable (which mounts to the back of the head). It looks similar to the cruise control rod on the 80's carbed gassers.

OOPS didnt realize yellwk20 replied to this already. Thanks again for all your help!

Sorry for the wrong info. Thought new 6.2 gas, my bad.

Ya, I want a L98 but am putting a 5.3 in for know to get it going. Still may upgrade after i get the swap all worked out.

There's a couple of 6.2/700r4 trucks at my local yard. Is they're something I could grab that would fix your prob?

Ive got one out at my old mans farm. PM with specifics and Ill do my best to get you pics and measurements.

Might put a request up in parts wanted. Someone might be willing to hit the yard for you and grab one.

I need the linkage rod that goes between the tv cable and the throttle linkage. I also need the bracket for the tv cable. I guess it would have to depend on the price.
