6.2 cold start problem

My cucv runs like a champ once it is warm, but over the past couple of weeks my cold starts are a no-go...
I have changed my fuel filter...and can hear the solenoid clicking under the hood for what i am assuming is the glow plug timer..
The wait light on the dash goes on but does not cycle off...
system is still 24v and has no modifications..
could really use some help on this..

Check your glow plugs. Use an ohm meter to check for resistance, if you don't get any it's a bad plug.
