My cucv runs like a champ when she is warm, but lately cold starts have become a no-go...
I have changed my fuel filter and I'm sure its not the fuel pump because like i said it runs like a champ when warmed up..
I can hear what i assume is the glow plug timer relay cycling on and off under the hood and can see the voltage draw on the gage when she clicks as well.. what I'm not seeing is the wait light on the dash going off after the usual cycle sequence..
drawing a blank on where to start.. any input would be appreciated..
thanks in advance..
still a 24V system without any modifications to the military specs...:wink1:

Look at the exhaust when cold starting . If you see smoke then you are getting fuel so next check your glow plugs . Hope that helps

Check the injector return hoses. Mine start to weep fuel and the CUCV would not start without alot of cranking. If they are cracking, don't by them from GM. They wanted around $16/hose X8! LMC had a cheap set I first installed and they lasted about 6 months. I think they may been windshield washer hose. Find a good diesel shop and by them there.

Good luck
