I used Tygon fuel line I got from a small engine repair shop--it is good stuff and no clamps were needed, you just push it on and it will not come back off the barb fitting, you must cut it off !..
I replaced a few on my 6.2 at least 3 years ago and its still intact..I got 1/8" intended for weed eaters and the guy cut off 5 feet from a bulk spool and only charged me $5..I keep the leftover line in the glove compartment in case another one fails..
My '85 Suburban came with the AC-Delco factory replacement hoses,so far I haven't used them, they were the black rubber OEM ones that need those teeny clamps, that SUCK to install on the rear most injectors ,which was the one that failed on my pickup..
I also got a few feet of Firestone air brake tubing, 1/8" ID that a local diesel shop gave me when I asked them what they used--that stuff is stiff and has to be softened up with a flame before it'll go on the barb fitting,I did use that to replace the rear most line on the Suburban--it worked OK,but I like the Tygon a lot better..
