The 6.2 civvies all came with direct starters.
I robbed my reduction setups from 6.5s.
I tried some of the new aftermarket gear reduction and they didn't last a few months

When you say brace, is it the straight one or the curved one like a banana ?

If it is the curved one, I would like to get it ... I have the straight one.

While that is true, there has been 30 years of people swapping parts so it is very common to find the 6.5L starter on the 6.2L these days.
