need the sizes for all the rubber fuel lines on the 6.2, the little ones that go between the injectors and the rest

Depends on year, the fuel systems aren't all the same. The injector overflow lines are easily purchased as a set, the supply-side lines should be a mixture of 5/16" and 3/8" fuel line.

I used some 1/8" tygon hose on my injector return line that failed, and keep a coil of it in the glove box for any future issues..the stuff is easy to push on,but will not come off barb fittings without cutting or breaking it,so its a lot better in my opinion than fighting with those teeny-weeny hose clamps GM used..

The rubber line someone put from the firewall fuel filter to the injector pump on my pickup is 1/4"--they may have deleted the secondary filter that goes under the intake,if it ever had one,its not there now..ditto for any fuel heater--looks like they just sawed off the steel line at the IP and put rubber hose there...which reminds me,its been like that 13 years,I'd better check and see if that hose is ready to split or pop !..

My truck is an 83 with the screw on filters

Mine has the spin on primary filter also..I had to put an adapter on the line from the filter to the injector pump,to step it down from 3/8" to 1/4"..so whats on my truck isn't probably factory or typical..

Anyone have an idea of what size the vaccine line is, only reason I'm asking is my truck is over 30 miles away from my work and house so it's a pain to drive all the way to check one thing, I only have the weekends to work on it haha

You mean "vacuum" line ?.....

The one on my vacuum pump is 3/8 and has a tee fitting that reduces to 1/4" for the VRV valve that operates the transmission modulator, and also has another port for smaller hoses that went to the EGR valve and the solenoids that operate it...

I would just get a spool of every size they sell, from 3/16" to 3/8"or ten feet of each --then you wont have to trot back to the store, and have enough left over for future "emergencies"..personally I'd stick with the tygon 1/8" for return line on the injectors--most lawnmower shops have it by the foot..

I bought the dorman return line kit to keep as a spare after the plugged return line debacle.

I've read some complaints online about the Dorman hose being cheap crap that fails rapidly...some say it was nothing more thasn typical windsheild washer hose, others said they looked just like the GM oem stuff...:dunno:..

Back when my return lines failed,a diesel shop I stopped at gave me some "Firestone air brake tubing" with a 1/8" I.D.--guy says thats all he ever used, you heat it up with a ciggarette lighter for a few seconds and slip it over the nipple..I had no luck trying that, and it seemed awful stiff, like nylon--I decided to go with Tygon instead, after reading online others had used it with sucess..

I looked at the Tygon I put on one of my return lines and after 2 years or so-- it is starting to get hard now,but not "brittle"..

I may put some new tygon on it soon so I wont have to mess with it during the winter..
My Burb's return lines are failing too,the rear most drivers side one that failed on my truck seems to be the first to fail ,being the suckiest to get at...the tygon needs no clamps,I like that a lot..so I should buy 5 feet of it and do both of the trucks with it..I'm keeping a few feet in the glove box too,"just in case"..

I bought that badger diesel line from a seller on eBay and it actually got brittle and cracked on a few spots on my truck, it even said he'd warranty it in the sales post! And I didn't care because it was 20$ but I tried to email him and he refused to work with me.. I'll never buy anything from him again.. crappy service! To top it off I was gonna buy a bunch more parts and didn't even ask for a full refund..

When I got my truck in 2010 it was missing the cap on one of the rearmost injectors. I didn't have any caps, so I used a piece of tubing to connect that dead port to the dead port on the other cylinder bank. I don't remember what I used, but it's still happy 6 years later. I haven't noticed it getting hard, it was just a simple rubber line that slipped over the nipple without any clips. I'm guessing it was normal fuel hose, I do remember it was something that I picked up at a normal Autozone-ish store.
