I have an 84 M1008 CUCV (K30) with a toasted torque converter (TC).

This model has a 6 pad torque converter stock.

The flexplate has 6 holes and they are all 11.5" diameter bolt circle.

Can I use a 3 pad TC on the 6 hole flexplate?

The only decently priced version of the 6 pad TC doesn't list the stall speed and the manufacturer will only tell me "it's stock". I want a low stall converter for the diesel, and I can find a 3 pad one with a 1350 stall speed for $71.00.

I am open to other options if someone has a good cheap source on a low stall 6 pad TC.

Thanks,

adam
